Hello, my name is Jennifer Griego, I am currently enrolled in the graduate program at the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL.  I will graduate in May, 2016 with my Master's of Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.  

 

Currently, I reside in Los Lunas, NM and am employed as a Registered Nurse at Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM.  For the past 9 years I have worked as a staff nurse and relief charge  nurse on the Family Birthing Center and Maternal Special Care units.

 

Although my nursing career has been primarily in women's health and neonatal care, during my clinical rotations I have had the opportunity to spend the majority of my time in rural area Family Practice, Urgent Care and the Emergency Department. Through these experiences I have realized I have a true passion for primary care, especially in rural area health.

 

I am looking forward to finding a position as a Family Nurse Practitioner in my community where I can continue to support the needs of my patients, provide exceptional care and show my committment to excellence in my community and the profession of Nurse Practitioners.
